Vladimir Makarikhin & Eugene Kuklya
The football team Rhythm from Russia where regular guests at the Dana Cup from 1992 to 2014 - 38 teams over 18 years.
Vladimir Makarikhin the leader of Rhythm devoted his life to the club, to the members and personally raised the funds each year to travel over 5.000 kilometers, spending 6 days in a train and bus to get to his second home in Denmark, Bindslev.
Vladimir sadly passed away in 2014 and he is missed both in Rhythm and here within the Dana Cup Family.
Eugene Kuklya was the translator for Vladimir and remembers his time in Hjørring - Denmark fondly. Eugene is hoping to return with Rhythm and also with Dinamo, where his daughter Anna is now playing football.
We look forward to seeing Rhythm & Dinamo some time in the future.
